Plat Maps 1863-1939

Data in this file includes more than 16,000 names of land owners indicated on the published plat books and maps for Carroll County in 1863, 1869, 1874, 1882, 1897, 1919, and 1939.  Names were taken from the county or township maps and are susceptible to error.  In addition to owner name, records include township, section, and number of acres, if given.  None of these is still in print but copies are in the Museum and some libraries.
