Information in this database includes 4,145 wills which were entered into Probate and recorded in Will Books 6-29 for Carroll County.  They cover late 1897 through early 1992.  Names mentioned in the will records are indexed, and related information is included.  The original Will Books are housed in the Carroll County Clerk’s OffiThe database indexes 660 wills from the years cited, including over 4,500 persons named in these wills.  The data was originally documented in Wills of Carroll County, Indiana, 1830-1897 by the Charles Carroll Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Delphi Indiana.  It was compiled in 1951 by Ivy Jackson Neff and Meredith Julien Stephenson and reprinted in 1980 by The Bookmark, Knightstown, IN.
