Stone Barn

Change of hands. Pictured is President Steve Mulligan and Delphi City Mayor Randy Strasser
The Carroll County Historical Society now has possession of The Peirce Stone Barn.
We have been steadily moving items out of the basement of the Carroll County Court House so that we can get a better feel for all of the treasures that have been stored down there for years. This has been a very dirty and hard task, but with the help of our wonderful volunteers we have managed to get it accomplished.
2012 Board Members

Pictured left to right are: 1st Row – Melissa Oliver; Treasurer, Phyllis Porter; Secretary, Steve Mulligan; President, Randy Myers; Vice President. 2nd Row – Joann Jackson, Wannetta Roskuski, Mary Chatfield, Theresa Peters, Rosalie Wilson, Robert Davis. 3rd Row – Chuck Calvert, Carol Lou Oliver, Sharon Calvert, Justin Sheagley, and Museum Coordinator Mark A. Smith.
We are in the process of making several improvements to The Stone Barn. We have recently had professionals come in and do a ceiling to floor cleaning, we have installed new doors, and have had the insulation upgraded to make it more energy efficient. Why we have done all of this there is still a lot that needs done so that we will be able to move in and occupy the building. If you would like to volunteer to help with clean up and moving please call or email the museum.
