So we have a blog now.
We're going to tell you about interesting things we encounter here in the museum collections and archives. And other things. Anything that gets you to thinking about our history here in our county.

One feature of this blog will be "What is this?" When
we run across mystery objects from our collection they'll be presented to you, our newest blog reader.
In 1990 two Delphi boys retrieved a curious object from the Wabash river.
Nobody could say just what this was, but their instincts told them it should be treated as a relic and so they gave it to the Carroll County Historical Society. Even the museum folks remained mystified, evidently, as no identifying information was ever attached to the item.
